Wendy Addo, better known as Wendy Shay, a Rufftown Records artist, presented a stunning performance at the ongoing Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2022.
After her first song, the singer dedicated her second performance to Osinachi Nwachukwu, a late Nigerian artist who died as a result of domestic abuse.
Osinachi Nwachukwu, best known for her song “Ekwueme,” died on April 8, 2022.
The singer claimed to have died of cancer, but her family refuted this, claiming that she died as a result of her husband, Peter Nwachukwu’s, domestic abuse.
Peter Nwachukwu was later arrested as a suspect in his wife’s death, and further investigations are underway to determine the allegations made against him.
Wendy Shay, speaking against toxic relationships during her performance at the ongoing Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, dedicated her performance to the late gospel singer.
