Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will conduct a public lecture on the country’s digital economy at Ashesi University tonight.
The public lecture will also include an interactive session with University students on how digitalization is reshaping the economy and positioning Ghana for the global digital revolution to come.
Dr. Bawumia, who has led the government’s digitalization push, is anticipated to describe the government’s strategy, the actions implemented thus far, and the impact of digitalization on the overall Ghanaian economy and service delivery, both by the government and the private sector.
Dr. Bawumia is also anticipated to emphasize Ghana’s success story to encourage other African countries to follow in its footsteps.
