The Kumasi-based rapper Kweku Flick has stated that his absence from this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) does not imply that his career is over.
The rising star, who received nominations for his hit song ‘Money’ in the previous edition of the awards scheme, said he is not sad that he would not be performing at this year’s VGMA.
“Missing this year’s VGMA doesn’t mean my career is over,” he said in an interview with Amansan Krakye.

“The way I didn’t get nominated in this year’s VGMA, I might be actively involved in next year’s edition, who knows?” he concluded.
“So I’m hoping that by this time next year, we’ll be talking about my nominations, so everything is about time,” he said on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
“I need to first put in the work,” he said on the Kastle Entertainment Show, “and I’m not disappointed at all not to be involved in this year’s edition of the VGMA.”
