At Ahenema Kokoben in the Ashanti Region, a 45-year-old security guard was stabbed to death by unknown assailants.



After the yet-to-be-identified individuals robbed two stores and stole large quantities of money, the dead, Bosompem Andoh, was stabbed.

He was discovered dead with his wrists and legs tied behind his back, as well as stab wounds on the torso and a tied mouth.
The deceased, who worked as a security guard for A2 Enterprise, an aluminum product merchant, and buildings that housed other enterprises, was also a washing bay attendant.
The criminals fled with GHS 80, 000 Ghana cedis from the A2 Enterprise, as well as GHS 8,000 from a Mobile Money outlet.
A generator set that was used at one of the establishments was also taken by the criminals.
Bernice Amoako Mensah, a worker at one of the impacted stores, told the story.
“I was contacted by two of my coworkers. They informed me of the situation. As a result, I rushed to work and discovered that two shops had been robbed. We ran in to see what the criminals had taken, only to discover that our security officer, Mr. Bosompem Andoh, was no longer with us. You could tell he was fighting the robbers. Unfortunately, he died, so we called the cops and filed a report,” she stated.
The body was transported and placed at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue by crime scene officers from the Ashanti Regional Police Command.
Affected store owners have asked police to speed up their investigations so that the criminals can be apprehended.
