Yesterday, commercial truck drivers went on strike in protest of the country’s high fuel prices.
Many people were left stranded as a result of their actions, as they were unable to get cars to their respective places of employment.
The IGP decided to offer buses at vantage locations to assist some trapped persons in attempt to salvage the situation.
A total of 18 buses were made available to take schoolchildren, the elderly, and some stranded individuals to their destinations for free.
