A man from Nigeria has broken up with his girlfriend because she smokes and lately joined him in smoking marijuana, known as Igbo in Nigeria.
He ended their relationship after four years of dating, saying he was ready to settle down and that she had a smoking issue.
The pair was considering whether or not to call it quits in a WhatsApp voice communication that was released publicly.
She recalled how he had said he didn’t mind since he liked her the way she was when they had first met at a club while she was smoking.
She is confused as to why, now that he is getting ready to wed her, he is the one scolding her for consuming marijuana when he also acknowledged to buying it for her to smoke.
But the man reiterated that he doesn’t want to continue the relationship since it will affect their children.
Because he didn’t think she was a good match for marriage, he decided to purchase her marijuana at that time, arguing that a respectable woman cannot be discovered in a club.
