Kuami Eugene, the award-winning Ghanaian artist, and his record label, Lynx Entertainment, appear to be parting ways soon.
Rumor has it that the “Artist of the Year” at the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is trying to get out of his contract with the company. Some of these speculations claim that Kuami Eugene’s decision to depart Lynx is motivated by a desire to be on his own, as well as minor disagreements with label colleagues.
These rumors were fueled further when popular/controversial critic Kwame A Plus stated that he had heard similar tales on the United show biz and that he fully supported the artist’s desire to go it alone.
While there has not been any clear communication from either Kuami Eugene or Lynx Entertainment on these speculations in the media space, the former has taken to Twitter to share a cryptic tweet.
In a tweet from the ‘Take Away’ crooner, he stated that he has tried to stay at a particular place, but it appears his efforts are not being appreciated enough and, as a result, he has finally decided to move on.
While neither Kuami Eugene nor Lynx Entertainment have responded directly to these media claims, the former has resorted to Twitter to deliver a cryptic remark.
In a tweet, the ‘Take Away’ singer wrote that he attempted to stay in one area, but it looks that his efforts were not recognized enough, therefore he has ultimately chosen to move on.
