Following his doom prophecy on Shatta Wale, Bishop Stephen Akwesi Appiah, also known as Jesus Ahuofe, was granted bail.



After becoming a person of interest in the case concerning Shatta Wale’s shooting act, the head pastor of New Life Kingdom Chapel was detained.
According to reports, the preacher was granted bail in the amount of GHC100,000 after his lawyer successfully pleaded for bail. He must present three gainfully employed sureties and report to police on Mondays and Thursdays as part of the terms.
Following Shatta Wale’s surrender to the police, Ghana Police Service operatives detained Jesus Ahuofe last week.
According to Nana Romeo of Accra FM, Jesus Ahuofe was apprehended by the police just as he was about to go live on air for his monthly broadcast.
Two police pick-up trucks stormed the offices of Accra FM to arrest the man of God, according to Nana Romeo. Bishop Stephen Akwesi Appiah was arrested after claiming to have a prophecy about Shatta Wale on the same radio station a few days ago.
He claimed that some gunmen were planning an attack on the dancehall star.
