Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister of Education, has brushed aside charges that he is tampering with the country’s educational system.
He emphasized that the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-led government’s policies are not only about people but about the sector as a whole and that they cannot afford to play games with it.
“It’s not about me, or even about the president; it’s about the country’s development.” I arrive at work at 6:30 a.m., happy because we are transforming the country, and I hear others ask, “What is he doing?” What am I doing, eeei? We’re working because we have to work (laughs).
