MTN Ghana’s attention has been drawn to a link (https://simregistrationupdate.mtn.com.gh) purporting to be a link for SIM Registration all over social media.
MTN Ghana has warns and wishes to inform the general public to Ignore the simregistrationupdate.mtn.com.gh portal as it’s not for the ongoing exercise.
The purported portal is NOT meant for the current registration exercise as being circulating.
A statement from the MTN said:
“Dear customer, our attention has been drawn to a link purporting to be a link for SIM registration. Please note that this portal is not meant for the current SIM registration exercise as suggested in the messages circulating”.
MTN further urged their subscribers to rather following the two-step process in re-registering their SIMs with their Ghana Card.

MTN continued “For the current SIM registration, please follow the two-step process outlined below to register your number:
1. Dial *404# and follow the prompt to link your Ghana card to your SIM number; 2.
