The children of a 66-year-old Nigerian man’s unconventional tribute has elicited a range of reactions tinged with shock.

The first was posted by a person by the name of Samuel Strong on the Facebook page Rant HQ Extention. He shared a link to the biography and said that they had already laid him to rest.
The man’s children claimed the deceased didn’t leave them anything and wasn’t at all generous to them, despite the fact that it is against the law to speak ill of the deceased in the African culture.
The author of the biography expressed regrets about having him as her father when she was a young girl.

They criticized the deceased for treating strangers kindly while ignoring his own family.
“…Indeed you were so good to outsiders but your own home was a total shamble. As a growing child, I regretted having you as a father, but today, look at me, standing to lay you down to rest,” an excerpt of the biography’s preamble reads.
