Rapper Drake has staked $1 million for Argentina to defeat France in the World Cup championship match finals and he has won himself $2.75 million after Won on penalties.

Drake was rooting for Lionel Messi to eventually win in the one competition that has eluded him throughout his illustrious career.

Drake shared a photo of his bet slip on Instagram, revealing the seven-figure wager.

He stands to make a cool $2.75 million if he wins, more than double his initial investment.

After his announcement, supporters are now afraid that the “Drake curse” will happen once more.

The rapper frequently backs teams to win, only for those teams to ultimately lose.

Yoo, Drake, cancel your bet. “You are going to ruin a historical day for no reason,” a fan remarked.

Another remarked, “Drake gambled on Argentina… I’m going to wager on France in an effort to break the jinx.

“So Drake also bet on the Golden State Warriors to win the NBA championship, and they won,” a third person added.

Messi is going to break his curse, so it’s not over yet, boys.

Drake once supported boxer Anthony Joshua to defeat Andy Ruiz Jr., but the British fighter lost.

While at Borussia Dortmund, he was also seen alongside Jadon Sancho, a star for Manchester United.

Then, Sancho’s group suffered a defeat to Bayern Munich, a rival.

The Drake curse has claimed the lives of other athletes, including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Conor McGregor, and Ligue 1 team PSG.

The course is finally broken.
