Eyewitnesses said that a bus traveling from Tamale to Accra overtook another vehicle, colliding head-on with an articulated truck.



According to eyewitnesses, a horrifying traffic accident between Bonomanso and Nipahiamoa on the Techiman-Tamale highway in the Bono East Region resulted in at least three people being burned to death.
Following the collision between an articulated truck with the license plate AS 4766 and a Kia Grand Bird bus with the license plate AK 285 -22 on Friday night, emergency personnel report that 40 additional people are fighting for their lives.
Both vehicles caught fire after the collision, according to Emmanuel Inkoom, the Bono East regional fire commander,”the situation would have been dire” if not for the Ghana National Fire Service’s quick action.
Eyewitnesses said that the bus from Tamale that was traveling towards Accra overtook another vehicle, causing a head-on collision.
