According to the GES statement, second-year students attacked President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in a trending video late last year using coarse and unprintable language.
An investigation into the incident led to the dismissal of the students.
The students had been suspended before being expelled.
The GES described the students’ behavior in the letter of dismissal sent to their parents as extremely unwelcome and contrary to the acceptable standards of conduct that are typically expected of all students in Ghana’s educational system.
