Fenuku Frank, a 21-year-old footballer, has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service’s Volta Regional Command for alleged recruiting fraud.
On September 29, 2021, he was apprehended near Zongo Junction in Accra.

The arrest comes after the Command had previously arrested three people for a similar act.
Further investigations indicated that the suspect, Fenuku Frank, is the mastermind behind the phony Facebook account made in the name of the Regional Commander DCOP Edward Oduro Kwateng, according to a statement from the Volta Regional Police Command.
The suspect also admitted to conspiring with others to defraud unsuspecting victims of their money under the guise of allocating protocol slots in the ongoing police service recruitment drive, according to police.
“All those engaging in recruitment fraud within the Volta Region will be dealt with by the Volta Regional Police Command. We nabbed Fenuku Frank Junior, a 21-year-old player, at Zongo Junction in Adentan, Accra, on September 27, 2021.”

“It will be noted that on September 14, 2021, three people were detained for a false Facebook publication purporting to have been created by the Volta Regional Police Commander, DCOP Mr. Edward Oduro Kwateng, advertising to aid potential Ghana Police Service applicants.”
The suspect is scheduled to appear in Ho Circuit Court later today, September 30, 2021.
“At 1000 hours, Frank Fenuku Junior will be arraigned before the Ho Circuit Court.”
