Postings for the 2021/2022 service year have been announced by the National Service Scheme (NSS).

On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, the list postings were made public.
A total of 81,081 graduates from approved tertiary institutions who enrolled for the 2021/2022 academic year have been deployed to various user agencies around Ghana for national service.
In a statement signed and issued by Mr Osei Assibey Antwi, the scheme’s new and acting Executive Director, prospective service personnel were advised to check the scheme’s website http://www.portal.nss.gov.gh for confirmation of their placements before going to their respective user agencies to endorse their letters of appointment.
“Management would like to advise the general public that due to discrepancies, some prospective service people have been placed on hold for additional verification.”
The NSS management has also mandated that all graduates who have been duly posted and approved by respective user agency begin their national service on Monday, October 11, 2021, regardless of whether or not they have completed the validation process.
Following the delay in the release of posts in the aftermath of COVID-19, this unique provision was created to make service registration easier.
All deployed national service members are urged to accept their assignments as part of their civic responsibilities to contribute constructively to the country’s growth.
